    Science in the News is a weekly assignment that will keep you in the loop on current topics occurring in the world that are related to what we are learning in class.

 

    How this works:

• New article will be posted weekly
• Read the article, write a brief summary, and define a unique word from the article (unique being nobody else has chosen it yet)
  
• Comment on somebody else's post
• Your grade for this is dependent on your participation
• Relate what you know/what we are learning in class to the article.  Don't comment superficially.

• This is an on-line forum but your behavior within it is to be the same as expected in the classroom
• No derogatory language, put-downs, harassing, etc.
• Disciplinary action will be taken if these expectations are not met
