Physics - 1 Credit / Grades 11 & 12 Prerequisites: Earth Science, Algebra, and Biology Physics is an upper-level science course. Motion, energy, forces, electricity, and magnetism are all a part of physics. This course will focus on mechanics which has emphasis on describing motion of matter. This class has a very heavy mathematical basis and an understanding of Algebra and basic Trigonometry is essential for success. Lab work will be completed to aid in understanding key concepts. Many colleges recommend this class for enrollment.
