Physical Science

Physical Science - 8th Grade (Required)
Physical science is the study of matter and energy.  Matter is the "stuff" that everything is made of from very big things like planets to very small things like atoms.  Energy is the ability for something to cause change in the shape or position of something.  We will essentially be learning about the world around us and determining reasons as to how it works.  Physical science is divided into two categories:  Physics and Chemistry.  These two categories will be covered separately during each semester.
